‘Save Me’ is written by Merrin. It was produced, recorded and mixed by Elysian Sound Studio (Kāpiti) and then Mastered by “Oh, Hush!” (Chicago, USA).
Influenced by many a-rockin’ house party of the ’80s, dragged kicking and screaming into 2020. They pay tribute to memories of tragic moments with loud rock ‘n’ roll music yet an exciting eclectic, socialite scene and the good people of the world, desperate to show rebels a ‘better way’. ‘Save Me’, are bringing all of this with the realness of live instruments and lathering it up with vivacious attitude.
lyrics
V1
Open the door up like I’m miss thang
You sell yourself like, I need you in my system
I can’t hear you in my reality
There’s a party on at mine princess let’s get our freak on!
Magnetism is a wonderful thing
Metal like sex baby I think you could crave me
Pre Chorus
Come, come, come, a little bit closer
I might bite, you know that I like it rough
Step inside! I’ll give you what you need...
Chorus
C-c-come on, come on baby just na-knock on my door
Sh-sh-sh-shake it like na-never before no no
I’ve got a fever of a hundred degrees
I keep waitin’ a-on you to save me
V2
Got what you want
Got all you need
Sex, glam, metal baby I think you could crave me
Say I’ve got something that will blow your mind
Overambitious yet maliciously delicious
Do you have a masochistic side?
If so I don’t judge in fact I’m excited!
Pre Chorus
Come, come, come, a little bit closer
Oh, bite hard, you know that I like it rough
Relax - honey! I’ll give you what you need...
Chorus
C-c-come on, come on baby just na-knock on my door
Sh-sh-sh-shake it like na-never before no no
I’ve got a fever of a hundred degrees
I keep waitin’ a-on you to save me
Bridge
I see you letting go of everything you think you know, know, know
(Lead break)
Haha
Come on!
I’ve got a fever of a hundred degrees
Chorus
C-c-come on, come on baby just na-knock on my door
Sh-sh-sh-shake it like never before no no
I’ve got a fever of a hundred degrees
I keep waiting a-on you to save me
Outro
Come on, come on baby
I’ve got a fever of a hundred degree-ee-ees
Overambitious yet maliciously delicious
I keep waitin’ a-on you-to-save-me!
